Mumbai: The Mumbai Police claim to have made a breakthrough in the murder case of senior journalist Jyotirmoy Dey, with the arrest of seven people.
Police sources said it seemed like a case of contract killing and that the shooters were suspected to be members of the Chhota Rajan gang.
The seven people, from Mumbai and Karnataka, were arrested after several rounds of questioning; more than 70 suspects have been questioned by the police so far.
The Mumbai Police Commissioner will hold a press conference later today to share all details of the case.
